Advocacy aims to influence decisions within political, economic and social institutions. It includes activities and publications to influence public policy, laws and budgets by using facts, their relationships, the media and messaging to educate government officials and the public. At Nice Place Foundation students are given tools to apply the knowledge they have learnt from the advocacy course, to engage with their target audience and agents of influence and advocate for issues that affect them.

Through teaching Nice Place girls about etiquette, they are able to navigate the world with great social skills and a wealth of confidence. This part of the course is aimed at personal attributes that influence how well one works or interacts with others. The skills learned here make it easier to form relationships, build trust and be dependable (networking skills), and lead teams.
