How to Apply

Join Nice Place Foundation Academy and transform your future through education and leadership.

Nice Place Foundation caters to 150 girls annually. One hundred girls undergo the three-year programme while in boarding school. During school holidays, they come to the centre and go through the curriculum. The other 50 girls who do not attend boarding school participate in a full-time version of the curriculum over ten months.

Selection Criteria

The girls are selected in three ways:

Alternative Rites of Passage (ARP)

Gone through Alternative Rites of Passage (ARP) and selected as Miss ARP in their community

Rescue Centre Program

Gone through the Nice Place Foundation Rescue Centre and meet the criteria

Direct Application

Applied to join the Nice Place Foundation and have been selected by the Community Advisory Council

Qualifications

Completed secondary school and scored a mean grade of C+ and above.

A resident of Kajiado County

Interest in leadership, advocacy or computer-related courses

Completed at least one computer class in secondary school

Willing to participate in daily chores while at the institution

Available for the entire duration of the training

Willing to learn and take part in classroom and outdoor learning activities
