Every girl deserves the right to grow up safe, educated, and free to dream. In Kenya, we’re transforming centuries-old traditions to protect childhood, preserve dignity, and unlock potential.
Nice Place Foundation is the brainchild of Nice Leng’ete, who, at the age of eight, defied the cultural convention and avoided female genital cutting (FGC). Through an extraordinary series of events characteristic of her tenacity and dynamism, Nice became the first woman in recorded Masai history to be bestowed with the Black Talking Stick.

For many girls, running away from home is not rebellion it’s survival. Our doors are always open, offering shelter, care, and safety for those fleeing FGM and early marriage. Here, fear turns into hope, and hope into possibility.

We don’t just protect girls we prepare them to lead. Through our Leadership Academy, girls learn to advocate for their rights, speak with confidence, and stand tall in rooms where women’s voices have been silenced for generations.

Education is the most powerful tool we can place in a girl’s hands. We provide scholarships, school supplies, and mentorship so that no girl’s future is dictated by her family’s circumstances or society’s limitations.

From farming on our demo plot to learning computer literacy, we equip girls and women with practical skills to build sustainable futures. We don’t just dream of change, we teach it, grow it, and code it.
A safe space where girls are empowered to live a dignified life.
We create safe spaces, provide education, and empower girls to say no to FGM and early marriage and yes to their future.
Real change, measurable results. See how we’re transforming lives and communities across Kenya through our comprehensive programs.
